The Shine Wealth Preservation Workshop
“The Shine Wealth Preservation Workshop,” a first-of-its-kind program held in memory of the late Adv. Michael Shine, is designed to introduce students to cutting-edge legal issues in financial planning and private wealth preservation. This workshop offers students the opportunity to gain a competitive edge in private client legal services.
The workshop, held in English, included lectures by partners and members of the Shine Group, as well as distinguished external guest speakers who shared their legal and financial expertise. The workshop covers a range of topics related to wealth preservation and asset management, including the establishment and administration of trusts, multi-jurisdictional wills, global cross-border estate planning, and charitable giving.
The students were required to attend all lectures, participate in discussions, and presented a final assignment, which was graded by members of the Shine Group as well as other external professionals. The students will receive 4 academic credits toward their elective courses.
